It seems durable, although we have not had long enough to say with certainty. We were disappointed in its size. It seems pretty small and would have been better if it was larger and more rounded with a small slice cut to roll. I was sure that my house would be destroyed or the toy itself would not work on carpet as well as the manufacturer promised. I was wrong on both fronts. This ball can slide .. no .. more like zooming across the globe at lightning speed! But the best part is that it is so light and soft that will not damage walls or furniture. How is over, they want the network better than the ball. They like the ball, that ball can not do (and should not do) levy. She ended with a small handheld size bean bag balls to shoot into the network, which is better than a soccer ball full in the house.
